Nature Cost Botanical Gardens – Christmas Day 2019

Well here is what we did…

Well as I stated in previous posts… We had none of our kids on Christmas day this year. This was such a shock to the two of us. We exchanged our gifts to each other, and decided to try an occupy ourselves without dwelling on the fact that it was Christmas day without kids (also the first Christmas without my father, and the one year anniversary of the last time I heard his voice that was not a saved voicemail). Our first stop was to a very busy IHOP (who knew that place would be that crazy for breakfast on Christmas morning)… We then came back home and relaxed for a little bit while I started to put some of my new camera equipment to use. That led us to the Nature Coast Botanical Gardens. This place is ran by volunteers, and requires hours of time to keep up with. Many of the flowers are not in bloom (it is December after all). I cant wait to go back and get some more photos (also hopefully better ones… I am still learning my camera).

Grandma S & Grandpa T – Christmas Eve 2019

Well this is kind of an unusual post for me (for once it just happened). We have always went here for Christmas Eve… This get together is mainly for all the kids… This year for the first time ever we will have none of our kids for Christmas day. In fact the boys are gone to their dad’s as of yesterday across the state. Leaving just cousin “B” and “A” with us today. Santa did come early for both because he knew they would not be here tomorrow morning.

What on earth are we going to do tomorrow?

Boys’ Birthday Party 2019

Again I am a little late posting… But only by a couple of days. We had an awesome Birthday party for the boys. We added their cousin B into the mix as his birthday is also this month. All the kids enjoyed rollerskating while the adults made sure the table stayed in place. I don’t think any of us wanted a trip to the hospital from a fall on this day. Thank you to all the family that showed up to celebrate.
